What has the community response been in Flint to George Floyd’s murder by police?

Protests and community organizing for social change are not new to our community. Flint is used to fighting for justice on environmental, social and economic justice fronts. We organize, we protest, we inspire!
We are pushing the envelope for community change that embraces an anti-racist agenda. Supporting and expanding the existing Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) work happening in Flint - to eliminate racism through building relationships and systemic policy change - holds great promise for Flint’s next steps.
